Polishing — Mirror & Brushed

The surfaces that define luxury. Super mirror and satin/brushed finishes, polished by hand and machine to a flawless, uniform character — handled in gloves, inspected under controlled light, and brought to a perfect base for PVD.

Polishing is where stainless becomes jewellery — a mirror that reflects like glass, or a brushed grain that catches light softly.

Super mirror is polished to a high-reflective, glass-like surface for statement walls and features. Satin and hairline brushed finishes give a fine, directional grain — refined, understated and forgiving of fingerprints.

Both demand discipline: surfaces are handled in gloves to stay mark-free, inspected under controlled light for uniformity, and — for coated work — brought to a flawless base, because PVD reveals every scratch beneath it.

Why it matters

The difference, in detail.

01

Mirror brilliance

Super mirror reflects like glass — a luminous, high-end statement surface.

02

Brushed elegance

Satin and hairline grains are refined, modern, and hide fingerprints in daily use.

03

Flawless uniformity

Finished to a consistent character across every panel — no patchiness or swirl.

04

The base for PVD

A perfect polish is what makes coloured PVD look flawless — polishing comes first.

05

Directional control

Grain direction is controlled and aligned across an assembly for a coherent look.

06

Mark-free to site

Glove handling and protective films keep surfaces perfect through to installation.

How we control it

A mirror shows every flaw — so it's judged under controlled light, not by feel.

Consistency is the hard part of polishing; we standardise it with light, handling and a dedicated hold point.

01

Controlled-light inspection

Surfaces are reviewed under controlled light for uniformity and freedom from scratches.

02

Perfect before PVD

For coated pieces, the surface is brought to a flawless base before it reaches the chamber.

03

Glove discipline

Polished pieces are handled in gloves at all times — no fingerprints, no contamination.

04

Hold point 03

Post-polishing is one of our four mandatory QC hold points with stop-authority.
